Q Cut is a vibrant boutique salon in the heart of Kew Gardens offering a wide range of exclusive services in both Hair and Beauty. The Salon Director - David Hayes' creative talent, inspiration and experience was developed under the training programme of the high profile "Marc Young", and in his earlier career he travelled the world working in the Fashion industry.

In January of 2009, Q cut expanded as David's son Syd joined the team. Syd introduces the latest fashion trends and buzz straight from the catwalks of New York, Paris, Milan and London. He trained in London under Nicky Clarke and Daniel Hersheson until moving on to join the creative team of "Guido" Redken Worldwide Creative Director to focus entirely on the catwalk high end fashion market.

With his youthful, creative flair and keen enthusiasm Syd expands the portfolio of services the team can offer, combining traditional skills and expertise with a more dynamic fashion approach that ensures your experience is tailored to meet your exact requirements.

Q Cut ensures that your needs are met via an extensive consultation process that reviews your style aspirations in conjunction with your current look, face shape and skin tone to find the style that suits you.

The team objective is to enable you to relax and enjoy your experience, as the professional staff take into account your lifestyle to make sure your style looks fantastic as you leave but also manageable the week after.

Founder and owner of Q Cut,

A well known hair guru in the area and a master with the scissors!

Syd Hayes (Stylist)

Following in his Father's footsteps. Syd is not only a coiffeur at Q Cut but also freelance session stylist shooting for some of the worlds best magazines and styling hair for celebs and at Fashion shows worlwide. Syd can be found in Kew snipping away on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Bosh (Stylist/Colourist)

Known for her super long lasting blowdrys, she is a queen with a brush and has been with Q Cut for over 10 years. A highly regarded colourist and stylist; Bosh adds a wealth of experience to Q Cut and is without a doubt the blow dry goddess.

Kelly (Stylist/Colourist)

A young and talented hairdresser, Kelly trained within the salon under the watchful eye of David. 8 years later Kelly is still with the Q Cut team and going strong! Great wth the little ones and always up to date with all the latest celeb gossip.

Alicia (Stylist/Colourist)

An exceptionally talented colourist Alica is Queen of all things colour at Q Cut. Alicia is also a great stylist and like many staff members trained within the Q cut team.

Fran (Aesthetician)

Started with the salon over 10 years ago. Whether it be a mani/pedi, or a relaxing body massage... you name it Fran does it! A wonder in the beauty world

Larissa (Junior)

We are a small family salon based in Kew for the past 27 years and are looking to increase our opening hours.

We have a keen, hard working team and therefore

We are looking for someone who is an all round talented hairdresser.

Qualified in both cutting and colouring to a high standard with enthusiasm and creativity. Able to work late nights,

Ideally looking for someone, 2-3 days a week however this could increase to full time.
